Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of ChatMarket by all users, including creators and customers.

Registration is completed after the applicant agrees to these Terms, submits the required information, and is approved. Minors require parental consent. Applications involving antisocial forces may be rejected or terminated.

A 3.6% system and payment fee is added when purchasing Yell Coins. Coins expire 180 days after purchase, are usable only within ChatMarket, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

The Free plan generally returns 80% of eligible coin spending to creators and includes the currently available core features, including produced-video and live-archive VOD sales. Creator+ generally returns 85% and adds event tickets and Fan Club tools. Card purchases of live-stream and school tickets include a separate 5% system fee, excluded from creator payout calculations and refunded with the underlying price when the applicable service is cancelled. Earnings close at month-end and are scheduled for payout on the 15th of the following month, less the actual bank transfer fee. Infrastructure-only recording fees are excluded from creator payouts.

Call pricing and the amount shown before payment apply. Paid chat readings close after the stated number of exchanges. Billing starts only through the designated payment or call-start flow. Insufficient balance may end a call.

Calls are recorded only when the recording option is selected. Uploaders must obtain consent from everyone appearing in paid archives and remain responsible for portrait, privacy, and other rights.

Users who correctly purchase eligible videos, archives, or VOD content may view that content under the access conditions shown at purchase. Real-time viewing conditions are displayed for each stream.

Creators retain copyright in original content and grant ChatMarket a non-exclusive license needed to operate and promote the service. Creators must not infringe third-party copyright, portrait, or privacy rights.

Users must declare music use and submit required set lists. Applicable music-rights costs may be deducted. Commercial recordings require separate permission from the relevant master-rights holder.

Free and Creator+ creators may upload and sell original videos subject to price, length, review, copyright, and portrait-right requirements shown in the service. Free includes produced-video and live-archive VOD sales.

Fraud, harassment, illegal or obscene material, coin abuse, unauthorized access, reverse engineering, rights infringement, and disclosure of private consultation or trade-secret information are prohibited.

ChatMarket may suspend use, hide content, or terminate accounts when these Terms are violated or a reasonable basis for suspected violation exists.

ChatMarket is not liable for interruptions or losses caused by communications, infrastructure, disasters, or matters outside reasonable control. User-to-user disputes are resolved by the parties involved.

ChatMarket may revise these Terms after providing notice in the service or to the registered email address. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
